Victoria's dress was originally going to be the upper body of Autumn Receding, but then I changed course because I felt that Autumn Receding didn't need an upper body. So I decided to use the pieces in this doll, and at about the same time I splurged on the variegated mohair that I used for the hair, dress fringe, etc. At the time I didn't even realize it would work with the pieces I had made for Autumn Receding ... I just knew I had to have it.
