Sari Queen

Sari Queen's dress is made with very simple rows of single crochet in the back loops. I like the interesting textural and color effects of this simple technique. On alternate rows of the dress, I used recycled sari silk, which was a gift from my favorite local yarn shop, Chix with Stix, who couldn't sell it because it was tangled and kept breaking in the winder. I made this doll in thanks.
Note: Sadly, Chix with Stix has gone out of business.
