Sophie the Sweater Doll
This doll's body was made from the sleeve of a sweater. I added the ruffle and collar and fulled it, along with the head and its kooky ball-hair. I fulled the two parts separately so I could stuff them and then sew it together at the neck. Every girl needs a purse and I had a left over cuff, so I stitched it together, added a little strap, and voila! I gave it to Cassie full of candy -- what better to fill one's purse? Cassie has named her Sophie and is quite pleased with her, which tickles me, of course. I made this doll for Cassie's 6th birthday.
