Bonita

I made this doll for my dear friend and fellow yarnophile, Diane Russell. We were at the Stitches Midwest yarn market together and she pointed to a small pack of yarns that she really liked. When she left to go to a class I bought the yarn and decided to make her a doll with it. I gave myself two rules: don't add yarn to it (as I am always tempted to do, and usually forget to adhere to "less is more") and use it all up. I don't usually work with this color combination, but I'm pleased wiht the result. I especially liked working with the ribbon yarn and have been looking for more of that (natch). Diane named her "Bonita" which means "beautiful" in Spanish and is also close to my own name ... how cool is that???
